A lovely long exposure of the Dun Briste Seastack surrounded by fog-like sea has won ePHOTOzine’s ‘Photo of the Week’ (POTW) title this week.

The colours and tones in the image are what first catch the eye then you appreciate the textures created from the juxtaposition of the smooth, swirling sea against the hard, strong sea stack. The addition of the foreground detail is a nice touch, too, as it leads the eye and fills the foreground with something other than sea, adding another level of interest. It’s also good to see a portrait landscape as many, for obvious reasons, tend to stick to landscape orientations.

It’s a fantastic seascape – well-done RX70

All of our POTW winners receive an EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with SD Adapter courtesy of Samsung. To be in with a chance of becoming our next POTW winner, simply upload an image to our gallery where you’ll also find all of our past POTW winners.
